Purpose Statement:
This role provides support to the CFO in the delivery of the change plan, as the finance function transitions towards its new Target Operating Model. The incumbent will own and drive elements of the global change plan, and will provide guidance and consulting advice to the Finance and transition project leads.
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for delivering elements of the overall FT change plan
- Provision of expert change advice and guidance to the transition leads in respective teams/businesses/regions
- Support in defining and driving a cultural change within Finance, including focus on cross-Cultural awareness and effective integration of the global Shared Service model
- Lead role in designing and running cultural workshops to aid embedding the new ways of working
- Planning, development and delivery of specific FT communication e.g. regional office transition into Finance Operations (Shared Service)
- Support in driving the FT engagement programme for Finance, including delivery of workshops, deployment and review of analytics, team briefings, focus groups, conferences etc.
- Ensure central coordination of the change activity and alignment with the objectives of the overall programme team
- Assessment of critical skills gaps; planning strategic interventions with local HR/L&D to address
- Provision of people change advice in the effective set up and integration of Finance Operations, including the integration of people and processes into the centre, and seamless transition to 3rd party (where relevant)
Experience:
Experience working on change programmes in large corporates. Proven track record in creating an effective environment for successful change, and in improving employee engagement during periods of change. Experience in setting up global shared services and effective change management in a matrix organisation.
Skills:
Process optimisation (lean, 6 Sigma), experienced change practitioner, and advanced Powerpoint skills, strong communicator and cross-cultural navigator.
