The Opportunity

Finatal is a leading recruitment business offering interim candidates the chance to work with leading PE backed companies in exciting opportunities. We are currently recruiting a Financial Modeller for a private equity backed company within the manufacturing industry. The company is based near Guildford, however it’s not walkable from the main train station. Following a secondary buy out from one private equity house to another, the need has arisen for a competent financial modeller to bring their existing integrated model onto Excel from an SQL based programme.

The Role

More specifically as Financial Modeller you will;

• Use the existing data in their SQL based model and build the new fully integrated model on Excel from scratch. This will include P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow, looking ahead over 5 year period.
• Reporting directly to the CFO / COO, you will liaise with the private equity investors to make improvements to the existing data
• Possible involvement in the 5 year plan, however this is dependent on the quality of the initial piece of work

The Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and have extensive modelling experience within a private equity environment. This contract is likely to last around 2 weeks initially, however there may be the requirement to extend further. Maximum day rate for this assignment is £500 p/d.
