A market leading, multi-site retail Plc based in Greater Manchester is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to help drive a strategically important business transformation project.
The company is a profitable, fast growing and approaching an exciting time of change as the business embarks on a transformation project which the successful applicant will play a significant role in.
Applicants must be recently qualified accountants with a strong academic background, looking for a commercial and operationally focussed role. Strong excel skills and a commercial acumen are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
• Analysis of results, identifying trends and suggesting improvements.
• Assist in the implementation of a new rolling financial forecast and budgeting processes.
• Financial planning and modelling.
• Support the preparation of 5 year strategic plans.
• Work with the Sales and Operation functions in a partner like role, evaluating business plans.
• Ad hoc analytical project work on behalf of the FD
The right candidate must be driven, have the ability to build valuable relationships across departments and be experienced in relaying financial detail to non finance individuals.
