Commercial Analyst - Aylesbury £25,000 - £30,000 per annum plus Excellent Benefits plus Bonus
Our client, a highly impressive entity going through a fantastic period of growth is currently looking to source an ambitious and talented Commercial Analyst to join their dynamic team.
You will provide commercial analysis and management information support for the growing finance department and provide a high quality of financial analysis and controls.
Key responsibilities:
- Promote, implement, support and communicate key financial data disciplines, controls and practices within the team and non-financial managers
- Drive greater understanding of business performance through relevant KPIs and analysis
- Review performance and develop relevant KPI's agreed with Management
- Provide key business/commercial content to financial performance
- Review of detailed profitability analysis and business efficiencies making relevant recommendations on how there can be improved to support improvement of bottom line growth
- Co-ordinate and manage the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts
- Be the 'go to' person between the department and Group Finance team to assist with billing, revenue, budget and reporting queries
- Provide a financial guide to senior management
- Effective communication with non-financial managers
- Drive continuous improvement culture and development of processes
- Improve business modelling and financial planning for growth
- Share best practices across all areas of the business
- Respond to ad hoc requests in a timely manner
The successful candidate will be studying towards their ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualification and have experience doing a similar role. You will have advanced Excel Skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will be building relationships both internally and externally, therefore strong communication skills at all levels are crucial.
