Our client is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organisation with a proven track record of success, a dynamic management team and a strong brand. Due to the continued growth of the business, they are currently seeking an experienced Head of Finance to report directly to the Finance and Commercial Director.
Key responsibilities include:
- Financial strategy and planning, management and reporting, including management and development of policies, systems and processes.
- Control all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including systems and audit.
- Manage company policies regarding expenditure for capital and expense items, as appropriate.
- Assist in preparing and presenting financial information for management and shareholders.
- Formulating financial targets and budgets in accordance with the strategy determined by the board. Report and measure performance against those budgets and provide KPI support across the company to drive incremental profit improvement.
- Finance team management.
- Reporting and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements including taxation, dividends, annual report and accounts. Acting as the leading interface between the Company and financial and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure good governance and compliance and co-ordinating the Company’s risk management.

Applicants will be fully qualified with a proven track record of managing finance in a dynamic business. Applicants will be technically strong with an ability to develop and implement policy and operational planning. They will be seeking to add value both commercially and operationally and engage with stakeholders both within and external to the organisation. It is expected that the successful applicant will have demonstrable experience at an equivalent senior level within a medium sized business, and will be able to deliver change on an ongoing basis to suit the needs of the company.
