Finance Business Partner

A global legal firm is looking for a qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) to take on a strategic finance role. This is a Finance Business Partner position and this individual will work very closely with a specific Practice within the firm across an international remit. The Finance Business Partner will be tasked with driving commercial value and profitability from the Practice area by working closely with the senior decision makers. Key stake holders will include the Partners, HR and other operational Heads.

With regards to core monthly duties the Finance Business Partner will be required to provide some standard monthly reports to management such as KPI analysis, commentary and recommendations but this is not a traditional month end role. This position will be largely project based and will require this individual to be extremely proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement. These improvements could mean involvement in pricing activities for new work, analysis of existing client profitability or cost saving initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) and candidates from passed finalist level through to newly qualified and 2-3 year post-qualified candidates will all be considered. Legal sector experience will be preferred but experience in large complex businesses will be equally well received especially if you have international exposure
