Partner / Partner designate / Senior Manager job in small accountancy practice in Cambridge £50-80k

Hays Public Practice is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Partner Designate to join a Cambridge based firm of Chartered Accountants. The firm offers audit, accountancy and taxation services to a wide range of clients based in Cambridge and the surrounding area.

The Partner Designate will work alongside the existing audit, accountancy and taxation teams and will deal with clients face to face. The role will also involve initially integrating within existing working practices and gradually help to shape the future of the firm. The firm are keen for the Partner Designate to take on partnership responsibilities within 2 years, and to obtain their practising certificate.

The successful Partner Designate will have:

• ACA / ACCA qualifications
• Previous experience in general practice
• Comfortable working with Excel, SAGE, IRIS (or similar)
• A working knowledge of general tax/audit/accounting/VAT/PAYE (as many as possible)
