Group Accountant

The Financial Services Division of Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Group Accountant on behalf of a Large Group with offices in the City of London.

The Role

As Group Accountant you will work with the Group Finance team and look after all core financial and commercial accounting whilst providing support to the Group FD and senior leadership team.

Day to day duties will consist of preparation of timely and accurate monthly consolidated financial reporting under UK GAAP including review of Group company submissions; budgeting, monthly reporting and statutory reporting including all ledger management, account reconciliations and recharges to group; reviewing and controlling the inter-company agreement and reconciliations process; oversight of group loans and current account balances; production of subsidiary and dormant company statutory accounts and preparation of the Group consolidated statutory report; year-end management; production of the tax pack and liaison with group tax advisors; consolidated budgets and forecasts; cash flow reporting and other ad-hoc duties.

Your Profile

You will be a Qualified Accountant who ideally has 3-5 years PQE either in Practice or in Industry and with proven management, communication and leadership skills and with the ability to continuously improve processes and procedures with a wide ranging accounting skillset. Salary & Benefits

Role of Group Accountant is paying £66K (pro-rata) fixed term contract for 6 months. You must be available to interview on Friday 24/03 and start the following week.
