Are you an immediately available internal auditor eager for a 12 month fixed term contract with a view to a potential permanent opportunity?

My client, a large reputable company in Lincolnshire, is looking for an internal auditor to help with the audit plan for the year.

Your role will have you preparing flow charts, identifying on key controls and drafting risk based audit programs. You will document results of the audit testing making sure you are keeping to agreed time schedules. You will discuss findings, presenting recommendations and conclusions. You will track recommendations on an ongoing basis to ensure that these are implemented. There will be areas where you can identify business improvement opportunities when you go through the review process.

The role will offer special projects that will have you busy working with a great organisation with some really genuinely professional and friendly people.

My client is looking to offer a candidate the role at £40-45k depending on experience. They are looking for someone who is Part Qualified/Qualified Accountant (CCAB) with strong experience in internal audit and someone who is a self starter.

The company is involved in manufacturing so ideally if there was someone who came from that background of manufacturing or process driven environments, this would be highly desirable. Experience of using CAATS would too be highly desirable skill. The role needs someone with strong excel skills and someone who has a willingness to travel to 2 other sites.
