Our client, a sector leading successful FTSE listed organisation, is seeking to appoint a high-calibre and ambitious Head of Group Reporting to take the lead on the Group's reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing a team of 19 reports, including a number of qualified and trainee accountants, primarily graduates
- Managing the preparation, and complete the initial review, of the consolidated management accounts on a monthly basis
- Managing the Group's budgeting and forecasting requirements
- Producing the Group consolidated financial statements
- Business partnering with key stakeholders and the wider organisation
- Managing the statutory accounts function ensuring the Group’s subsidiary accounts are produced in an accurate and timely way
Candidate Profile:
- ACA qualified accountant, Big4/Big6 trained, 2:1 Graduate
- Group consolidation and reporting experience
- High level understanding of differences between UK GAAP and IFRS
- People management experience
- Experience within a FTSE/plc organisation
- Sharp, intelligent and excellent written and communication skills
