Financial Accountant

Responsibilities include:

• Reporting of monthly figures, implementation of relevant accounting technical standards, and preparation of technical accounting memos to support all accounting positions.
• Ensure accurate and timely actual financial data to support business decisions.
• Oversee Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance for the division.
• Direct financial audits.
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of all relevant statutory audit reports.
• Develop processes and business partner relationships with internal and external groups.
• Day to day responsibility for treasury functions.
• Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Submission of VAT returns
• Assist in implementing a standard set of global operational accounting services including treasury management, payment processing, payroll, accounts payable, and purchasing.
• Contribute to the development of the company's strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization.

Requirements:

• • Established and progressive experience in controllership & accounting (required)
  • Excellent technical skills and ability to write accounting papers
  • ACA - Newly qualified to 2 years' experience
  • Ability to operate in a high-paced environment (required)
  • Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry (preferred)
  • Knowledge and familiarity with various operational finance systems; Workday & SAP
