A Group Technical Accountant is required for a 3 month contract based in Berkshire. The purpose of this position is to help deliver a Centre of excellence on all technical accounting matters.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver technical accounting advice on ad-hoc projects. Key responsibilities include:
* Advice to different business units on IFRS and UK GAAP accounting issues.
* Implement new standards and policies to the business units.
* Provide technical training on IFRS and UK GAAP.
* Technical reviews on complex statutory accounts.
* Liaising with external Auditors.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with significant IFRS exposure. You should possess strong communication skills and be confidant presenting to and training senior stakeholders
