Commercial Finance Analyst

This role supports in the management of all the company’s capital investment activities, facilitating business partners in good decision making via high quality advice, analysis, assistance and support.

Responsibilities include:

• Partnering head office teams to provide effective challenge and support across capital investment areas.
• Ownership over the production of the quarterly reports, including analysis and review with relevant teams.
• Support the development of financial business cases for capital investment, delivering in depth analysis of targets and requirements.
• Provision of clear and detailed financial analysis on performance of post capital investment         
• Supporting business decision making via ad hoc analysis and reporting.
• To participate in ad hoc projects where required providing sound financial analysis and clear decision making support

• To plan, prioritise and deliver work in a way that meets or exceeds business requirements and customer expectations.
• Budgeting & forecasting and long range planning.

The ideal candidate for this role must have:

• Part - Qualified Accountant (preferably CIMA or equivalent).
• Ability to work under pressure, manage a diverse and competing workload ensuring deadlines are met.
• Excellent analytical and Excel modelling skills.
• Methodical and detailed approach - attention to detail and investigative skills.
• Proven ability to develop and improve working procedures and processes.
• Highly organised and efficient.
• Commercially aware and customer focused.
• Flexible, open to change and proactive.
