Northern European Controller - £70,000 - £80,000 + Excellent Benefits
Wade Macdonald is partnering with a global NYSE listed organisation who are recruiting for a European Controller based in Surrey.
This fantastic opportunity will report to the European SSC Controller and will oversee the operation of the European finance shared services team in support of the European business' reporting units and finance functions. This will include general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable / cash application, travel expenses, intercompany activities, financial reporting (USGAAP) and SOX controls.
The Northern European Controller will support and execute the standardisation and centralisation of accounting processes, as part of an overall global transition. In addition the Northern European Controller will collaborate across the various European business units to provide "best in class" finance support and solutions. You will be responsible for the European consolidated financial statements which will include the balance sheet, income statement and cashflow on a monthly basis.
Key responsibilities will include the preparation of the monthly internal and external financials and provide thorough analysis of results. You will work closely with the Planning Director and develop financial strategies to support future business needs and drive cost efficiency. This role will develop talent and processes needed to ensure proper alignment of the shared services resources to the business strategies and requirements.
Our client seeks an accomplished ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified Accountant with current Controllership, USGAAP & SOX experience. Candidates applying for this role will have demonstrable experience in financial reporting and corporate accounting.
