The Consultancy Group are currently working on a Part Time Financial Controller role working with a start-up FMCG business based in central London. The business is on a massive growth curve and is looking for someone to come in and take control of the finance and grow with the business. The Financial Controller will be responsible for stock ordering, invoice posting, managing payroll and managing the day to day accounts across multiple revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Balancing accounts and general bookkeeping duties.
- Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
- Ensuring invoices are compliant with HMRC
- Handling accounts payable and receivable
- Process payroll
- Managing profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Paying regular bills for the company
- Assist in the preparation of the P&L sheets for the annual accounts
Key Skills
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- An ability to work quickly and accurately with an eye for detail
- Good computer skills (especially with databases and financial software)
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- An ability to work to deadlines
- Motivated, quick to learn, efficient and capable of working under pressure
