Management Accountant

Macildowie currently have an opportunity to join a successful Warkwickshire based manufacturing business who are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to assist them on an interim basis.

As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Management Accountant and rest of the finance team in providing accurate figures for the business, and the role will also include:-

-Reviewing the balance sheet
-Reporting of results, financial statements, forecasts, mid-year reviews, budgeting, all cost & management account data
-Preparing of the monthly balance sheet, P&L and cash flow statements
-Accounts to trial balance
-Variance analysis and making recommendations for accurate reporting.
-Revenue and cost analysis
-Assisting in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
-Ensuring of Sarbanes Oxley compliance and audit of other locations
-Ensure location assets are safe guarded and all systems are adequate to ensure this and support proper financial reporting.
-Providing assistance with special projects
-Support with and submission of capital investment requests
-Support smooth running of the AP function

As Management Accountant, required for this vacancy, you will have strong accounting experience with knowledge and experience of accounts to trial balance including accruals, prepayments and double entry book keeping. Experience from a costing and manufacturing background would also be preferable along with a finance qualification. This role requires a proactive attitude and someone who is a self starter!
