Site Accountant

Role - Manufacturing Accountant

Commutable from - Northampton, Corby, Wellingborough, Kettering, South Leicester, Milton Keynes

Salary - £38,000 - £45,000pa experience dependent

This role is perfect for a finalist or qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant, who has experience preferably in the FMCG or Manufacturing industry who wants to hit the ground running with a well established team and fantastic family owned business which is growing at a considerable rate.

Role:

The Manufacturing Accountant will assist in month end close, inventory analysis, valuation and accuracy, report preparation as well as analyse standard cost trends, planning, product profitability and stock valuation within a timely manor.

The role will be hands on and will prepare, analyse, report and investigate weekly and monthly variances on materials, labour and overheads for multiple sites.

You will be reporting to the Group Management Accountant and part of the wider team supporting multiple sites, including preparing regular forecasts and annual budgets.

The role will also be the financial representative on the site management teams working with the wider business, developing reporting and control procedures.

Create Financial structures to track performance against relevant budgets and cots and provide analysis to support the decision making process.

Experience:

CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified/Finalist ideally with experience within the FMCG or Manufacturing industries.

Exposure to budget processes, accounts preparation, variance analysis and investigation are also required.

Advanced Excel skills are essential and strong understanding of ERP systems is preferable.

Strong stake holder management skills and ability to communicate across all levels of business are essential.

Travelling between sites maybe required
