Senior Internal Auditor

As Senior Internal Auditor, you will report into the Head of Internal Audit, taking an active role in the planning of audits, conducting the fieldwork as well as reporting and following up on internal audit projects.

With a strong reputation for developing and progressing it's staff, this opportunity allows you to work within a newly created Internal Audit function that has extensive scope for progression as the team grows. Based in Chester, this location is easily accessible from Liverpool, the Wirral as well as Warrington and South Manchester.

Description

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Internal Audit to assist with the planning, organizing, performance and reporting on Internal Audit projects. you will also be responsible for following up on projects to ensure recommendations are being implemented.

Working within such a small team allows for independence and responsibility and entering into a new audit function as Senior Internal Auditor at this early stage gives you the opportunity to to influence and refine audit processes.

Profile

The successful candidate, as Senior Internal Auditor, will:-

• Have trained in a Top 10 accountancy practice
• Have a recognized accountancy qualification
• Have at least four years experience in internal audit or external audit
• Have strong influencing skills
• Be able to work independently and build relationships
