Financial Controller, Cambridgeshire, £45-55,000.

A leading manufacturing organisation based in Cambridgeshire seek an experienced Accountant to manage the day to day finances for their site.

Your new role
As Financial Controller your primary responsibility will be to account for all costs for the site, manage the budgeting and forecasting processes and support the wider business to continuously strive to improve processes. You will be an integral part of the senior leadership team on site and regularly liaise with key stakeholders both internally and externally. You will also be responsible for managing a small finance team. Other responsibilities will include managing the audit process and maintain effective internal controls in line with SOX requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
Suitable candidates will ideally be qualified, however candidates that have worked in a similar role and are qualified by experience will also be considered. Individuals that have worked in a manufacturing environment will be most relevant. It is essential you have strong communication skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines and enjoy challenging processes/people and equally be confident to be challenged by other members of staff.
Experience with SAP and SOX would be highly advantageous.
