Our client produces digital map data, online route planning and sharing services and mobile apps, plus many other location-based products so you know exactly where you are.
Through the success of their mapping data, our client has attracted the attention of governments across the world who want what we have in Great Britain; so our client helps other countries to build the same capabilities in quality data accumulation and management. Now, they’re looking for a Finance Manager to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established organisation at the start of a large and exciting change strategy. You will play a key role in our client’s financial decision making process and business performance.
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a small team of professionals in central finance.
You will act as an advisor to the business, ensuring the correct application of financial policies and reporting and that processes and systems are effectively used.
Part of your remit will be to implement planning and budgeting routines to enable the business to meet its financial targets.
You will exercise your influence to achieve better financial controls, definitive financial data and forecasting to facilitate improved financial reporting, planning and strategic decisions.
To be considered, you’ll need:
- Experience of delivering budgetary planning routines
- Previous experience of delivering process or system change and managing processes and projects
- Excellent data interpretation and analysis skills
- A good understanding of accounting and financial systems gained through a CIMA, ACA and/or ACCA qualification and post-qualification experience
Confident and decisive, as the Finance Manager, you’ll be a self-starter with excellent communication and presentation skills to enable you to liaise with all levels of the organisation.
