We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accounting Manager to join an impressive international business based in Colchester on a permanent basis.
This position will be responsible for group reporting, balance sheet control and having ownership of the statutory reporting process for the company; and offers fantastic exposure across the business within this newly created role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial accounts activities
- Manage the completion of statutory accounts filing, and group reporting for all company operations; and undertaking a full statutory entity alignment review process
- Management/financial accounts process to ensure strong balance sheet controls, compliance and governance, including face to face reviews across the various sites
- Proactively assessing IFRS standard changes such as IFRS15, preparing internal documents for roll out
Key skills:
- Qualified accountant with relevant post-qualification experience
- Extensive Experience of preparing statutory accounts and statutory reports
- Proven track record in dealing with and coordinating both internal and external audits
- Advanced IT and systems skills e.g. Excel
