Interim Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

My client, a large industrial manufacturing business with a Global presence is going through a period of significant growth and change. To provide greater support, the finance team needs to transform and improve, which has created the need for an Interim Head of Financial Planning & Analysis. Reporting directly to the CFO and based in Frankfurt, the role be responsible for;

• Taking full ownership for the FP&A function
• Reviewing FP&A processes and making improvements, including automation and streamlining
• Deliver robust, structured reporting and processes that are well understood and well communicated
• Upgrading the board pack and improving the way financial information presented
• Proactive business partnering with Senior leaders including the CFO and other Heads of Department
• Financial planning and budgeting, including consolidations and analysis.

The Person;

• Experience of working in large Global businesses
• Industrial Manufacturing or similar sector experience would be advantageous  
• Track record in delivering similar projects within FP&A
• Capable of engaging with key stakeholders to establish and embed best practice
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workloads
• Very hands on approach and comfortable getting into the detail
• Exceptional Excel skills
