Interim Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Director 

My client, a Private Equity backed Financial Services provider with hundreds of millions in revenue is looking to hire an Interim Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Director. Based in Frankfurt and reporting directly to the CFO, this will be very hands on role to take ownership of and improve the FP&A function and processes. Key responsibilities will include;

• Development and implementation of better quality reporting to support increased demands from the Private Equity owners and the business
• Process redesign and standardisation
• Improve KPI reporting, including balance scorecards to improve visibility on business performance to senior management
• Incorporate new consolidations tool to streamline process
• Design and build new cash-flow, budget and forecasting process and reports

The person;

• Experience of working in large complex businesses, preferably within a Private Equity environment
• Financial Services sector experience would be advantageous  
• Extensive FP&A / Commercial Finance experience
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workloads
• Understanding of finance issues in an operational environment of rapid growth 
  Demonstrated experience of successfully driving complex projects and carrying out changes
• Ability to think both analytically and strategically
• Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
