Head of Commercial Finance

A global consulting services firmed backed by private equity and generating significant revenue from its operations requires an experienced commercial finance professional to lead finance decision support across its worldwide operations.

This role reports into the Group CFO and involves leading on all aspects of commercial finance and decision support for the business through management of a broad team of finance analysts and management accountants, effectively working as the Commercial FD for the whole group. 

The business is evolving as it looks to put in place more efficient processes and cost structures whilst also targeting M&A driven growth to become a much larger entity over the next few years prior to an eventual exit. 

Applicants will be commercial finance leaders who must have gained considerable experience within contract accounting-based businesses and B2B services e.g, IT services, professional services, business services, consultancy services or similar. Effective  people management and stakeholder engagement skills are critical features of success so are also a prerequisite for this position.
