Contract Accountant

Qualified Contract accountant, Provide on-site finance support for a prestigious logistics contract.

Our client is a supply partner to the worlds best known names. They are regarded as experts in their field, with a turnover of more than £1b they support a number of companies from blue chip suppliers to specialist suppliers.

Your new role
This is a duel role, providing principle on-site finance support for a prestigious logistics contract based on the clients site at Winsford as well as providing finance input to logistics operations based at the business site in Crewe. This is initially a 12 month contract but may become permanent should the successful candidate prove to be an asset to the business.

What you'll need to succeed
We need a confident qualified accountant, who has ideally worked within logistics and has used SAP.
This role will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, weekly client invoicing, interaction with clients in regards to billing queries, provision of finance functional support to the site team in Crewe, which includes assistance with purchase orders, invoice queries, approval of expenses and reporting.

You will also produce KPI headcount reports, update weekly P&L and on a monthly basis will produce a cash flow forecast, complete month-end within 1-3 days and complete an internal flash report (assessment of P&L ahead of month end)
