Finance Manager

This manufacturer is looking for a candidate that can take on responsibility for the day to day running of the finance department. Monitoring the performance of the company by providing cost control, financial advice and giving accurate reports to the support managers.

Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations prepayments and accruals; bank reconciliations, control accounts, bad debt provision, FX revaluation, Stock Provision, Fixed Asset Register.

Further responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the management of debtors
• The production of monthly management accounts & board pack within 8 Working days.
• Weekly Sales Reports
• Preparation of statutory and regulatory returns e.g. VAT
• Preparation of year end schedules for external auditors.
• Maintain close cooperation and liaison with other departments 

The ideal candidate for this role must have:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Keeps up to date with external protocol standards
• Strong communication skills
• Deceive attitude, to make well informed and timely decisions.
• Target orientated and enjoys developing new approaches to achieve results.
