Our client, a global FMCG seeks a passionate and ambitious FP&A Manager to take responsibility for the new, responsive, cloud-based planning tool as well as for reporting and communicating the business performance, tracking progress against goals, providing commercial insights.
•Monthly reporting against budget and prior year. Collating and summarising reports provided by the rest of the business into both a monthly flash pack and a more in-depth management reporting pack to deliver insight into performance.
•Quarterly basis responsible for additional reporting to feed into business review meetings, discussing key variances to plan.
•Providing ad-hoc reporting and insight into key focus areas for the business.
•You will own the annual budget process and be responsible for agreeing the timetable to deliver the output to meet both internal management and regional reporting requirements, agreeing timelines with business colleagues and ensuring output is delivered on time to the level of analysis required.
•Responsible for managing the overall process and timelines for producing and analysing quarterly forecasts.
•On a longer planning horizon you will also give the financial input for the three year strategic planning cycle.
•Driving the development of a cloud system that delivers quicker planning cycles across all the finance team.
•New systems are enabling new processes such as continual, rolling forecasting and you will also be key in developing and embedding these in the business to drive the value of the FP&A function and help our business react to market changes quickly, enabling strong business performance.
•The role has two direct reports, 1) FP&A Analyst who prepares the majority of the historical reporting and 2) Pricing Analyst, who is responsible for maintaining customer pricing within our ERP system.
