Head legal cashier job opportunity in Bishops Stortford , Hertfordshire


A great opportunity has arisen for the Head Office of this well-established client law firm based in Bishop's Stortford for a Head Legal Cashier. The successful candidate will take the lead over 2 other Legal Cashiers and must have a good understanding of the day to day running of a busy Legal Accounts Dept. Using Partner 4 Windows, you will be dealing with PAYE, Cash Books, Book-keeping, Billings, Purchase Ledgers, Disbursement Ledgers, maintenance of Client Account/databases, Bank Reconciliations etc. You will be reporting to the Partners on a monthly basis and assisting in budgeting for the practice. It is preferable to have a minimum of 4/5 years in a legal environment, together with SARS (Solicitors Accounts Rules) which is essential to the role. Ideally this would suit a strong decision maker at all levels, who has leadership and excellent communication skills, with a flexible and reliable approach.
