Finance Business Partner

Financial Business Partner required for national food retailer based in Buckinghamshire. You will be working closely with the corporate sales team reporting to the Head of Finance. The salary for the position is between £45k- £55k + potential bonus and car allowance. Responsibilities will include:

• Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
• Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies
• Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
• Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams
• Learn the commercials / pricing of the business, liaise with the Sales Director & Account Managers.
• Produce budgets & forecasts in order to add to the understanding and clarity around the numbers.
• Develop a more systematic approach to the pricing, understanding the variables of the supply chain, supply & demand drivers at point of time.
• Working with sales support team and EDI team. Creating a trading environment.

Must be:

• At least part qualified, preferably newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• At least 2 years in Business Partnering experience within a wholesale/retail environment
• Role based at Buckinghamshire but will require 1 day per week business travel or work from home.
• Must have excellent presentation
• Solid relationship building skills
• Proven track record in negotiation
