My exclusive client, an entity of a larger services group has an exciting opening for a Finance Business Partner to join the company.


The company is a successful, rapidly evolving organisation and this role will play a key part in commercial decision making.


Reporting to the Commercial Director the key duties will be:


Deliver pro-active customer contract management identifying and maximising possible opportunities on cost save
*Develop, plan and maintain operational, technical and financial support interface to ensure accurate efficient commercial processes meeting customer expectations
*Control and maximise the company's profitability, protecting the companies legal and contractual obligations under the contract and to manage proactively the control of all commercial issues
*Assist where necessary in Bid development and mobilisation of project
*Provide accurate price guidance to finance team and operations management
*Calculate and communicate annual price increases to customer's in-line with contracted project agreements
*Assist in preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecast based on commercial activity volumes
*Responsible for managing credit control process providing prompt resolution of billing queries in regard to projects
*Pro-actively support finance department in a business partnering to ensure efficient accurate billing
*Development of customer relations through periodic review meetings providing minutes of communication and any resolutions
*Drive continuous improvement of reporting accuracy and efficiency and commercial opportunities
*Develop new agreements/contractual arrangements
*Develop business planning models for new and existing contracts
*Review business cases to ensure they remain consistent with the business strategy and are commercially robust
*Maintain and update contract revenue projections

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge and experience:
*Understanding of the key principles of UK contract law, have financial awareness i.e. management of cash and working capital requirements
*Good standard of education, to degree level preferable (not essential)
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
*Prepared to work within various geographical areas
