My client, an international manufacturer who has made significant growth due to a recent acquisition has a requirement for 2 Cost Accountants to jon the business.
The main accountabilities for the role will include:
- Assist with the annual budget and quarterly forecast preparation
- Enhance reporting to stakeholders primarily using SAP and external reporting sources
- Identify, analyse and report manufacturing cost variances
- Review and control significant balance sheet postings and balances
- Regularly update standard costs and authorise new product costings
- Monitor and reconcile GRNI accounts, stock, WIP and PPV accounts
- Control and transfer/journal of inventory transactions to the general ledger
- Assist with ad hoc reporting
The Successful Applicant:
- Ideally Qualified and studying towards an accountancy qualification
- Experience of working in a medium/large business
- Manufacturing experience/SAP desirable but not essential
