The recognised Top 30 Accountancy firm's Audit Department hold a specialised sub-division - the Charities Department, who deal primarily with conducting statutory and internal audits for charitable and not-for-profit organisations.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of statutory accounts in line with Charities SORP and FRS102. 
- Reporting to an audit manager and/or Partner and being responsible for the planning and execution of the audits (which cover a wide range of client types and sizes) in accordance with the International Auditing Standards
- Working within budget and bringing the audits to completion
- Managing client relationships
- Supervising audit trainees, reviewing their work, assisting with their development and dealing with their performance evaluations

Requirements:
- Hold an Accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, IIA, etc.)
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Proven audit experience with a wide range of clients
- Proven prior practice experience
- Excellent communication skills
