The role of Group Finance Anayst:
- Efficient maintenance of SAP and BPC environment through improved reporting flows of information.
- Responsible for running a smooth month end and forecasting process.
- Ensuring the Financial Reporting and SOX compliance environment is maintained, whilst striving for process and procedure improvement.
- Produce the monthly ledgers for certain head office businesses, namely P&L, Balance sheet and Cash flow reporting for the entity with relevant support checks and reconciliations.
- Timely upload of head office business into BPC in line within reporting timelines.
- Reconciling head office business in SAP TB with BPC on a monthly basis.
- Reconciliation and agreeing monthly inter-company balances across the Group.
- Produce the Quarterly reporting (Q0F, Q1F, Q2F, Q3F) for Balance sheet and cash flow for the Head Office and other Limited Companies as needed.
- Produce the Annual Plan (AP) reporting for Balance sheet and cash flow for the Head Office.
- Maintain monthly exchange rates for the Group in SAP and BPC.
- Maintain accounting framework and systems' environments (currently SAP and SAP BPC), as well as additional support to any projects impacting financial reporting.
- Preparation of company only statutory accounts under IFRS/FRS101 and assist team with the quarterly and annual external releases to SEC/NYSE.
- Liaison with internal and external auditors and provide relevant information when required.
- SOX reporting adherence and assisting team meeting the monthly, quarterly and annual signoff approval.
- Process improvement of tasks with the ultimate aim to be trained in month end processes and reporting.
- Assisting FP&A team with head office, recharge, accruals and intercompany reporting.
- Ownership of company accruals and local audit accrual postings.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks required to meet the needs of the Financial Reporting Group and its interaction with the wider audience of stakeholders, e.g. auditors, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax.
You will only be selected for this role if you have the following:
- 2:1 graduate above
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA part qualified
- Highly computer literate: Vlookups and Pivot tables are a minimum requirement
- A firm grasp of the mechanics and double-entry involved of consolidation and accounting.
- Able to work under time pressure and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Financial statements preparation.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Pro-active and self-starter.
- Able to work under time pressure, manage multiple deadlines and prioritise.
- Works independently using own initiative.
