General Ledger Accountant

Your new company has gone through a period of growth within the finance team and are looking to add additional accountant to their team with plan to further increase the head count further over the next year due to company expansion.

My client is looking for a progressive, eager and determined individual who has strong financial accounting experience from a large organisation.

You will be responsible for routine monthly GA tasks such as FX revaluation, bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliation and closing, month end processing etc. You will be responsible for fixed asset accounting, intercompany reconciliations, accruals and resolution of variances, VAT Returns, Intrastat and EC Sales List submissions and associated controls. You will ensure that internal controls are implemented and operational and be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations including identification of risks. You will support the GA Team Leader in preparing IFRS statutory accounts and corporation tax analysis and provide cover for the GA Team Leader as and when required. You will facilitate communication with stakeholders, ensuring that issues are captured and resolved effectively and support other functions within the company to include reviewing processes, policies and rules.
