In-House Tax Manager

Due to this growth and the associated increased demand on The Group finance function, an opportunity has arisen for a capable tax professional to assist in the development of this in-house function.

You will directly assist the Head of Tax in being responsible for looking after all areas of UK Tax Compliance for the Group. The role will also include corporate tax, VAT and indirect tax, PAYE and employment tax, and R&D Tax spend - meaning you will no doubt have an exposure to new areas of tax.

Based on the outskirts of Greater Manchester, the the ideal candidate will either be an Assistant Manager or Manager coming straight from practice or an experienced Tax professional currently working within industry in a similar sector.

The successful candidate will have ACA and/or CTA qualification plus a 2:1 degree, and will have been trained in a Top10 accounting practice.

With the company determined to continue on their current trajectory of growth, it is expected that the scope of responsibilities within this role will grow and therefore opportunies for development will be rife.
