My client is a well known broadcast media company based in South West London. They are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join their reporting team on a 6 month contract.
You will be a member of the team responsible for producing the consolidated financial results of the group for internal and external audiences, and for producing the group's financial statements and reporting. You will also deal with the group's internal and external auditors.
Key responsibilities
- Production of the group monthly consolidated result
- Preparation of the Group's annual and interim reports and quarterly releases, primarily focusing on completion of the consolidated financial statements
- Working closely with the group's auditors to ensure a smooth audit process
- Participation in team-wide preparation of UK statutory accounts, inclusive of liaison with commercial finance contracts and auditors
Candidate specification
- ACA qualified Big 4 trained finance professional with industry experience.
- Experience of IFRS accounting and financial statements from working in a group financial reporting environment and/or from corporate audit.
- Strong systems skills including analytical spreadsheet skills
- Media background is desirable
