I am currently recruiting for a fantastic and dynamic SME in Solihull who are in need of a excellent Management Accountant to tie up the finance aspect of the business. A key role to senior management, the role requires a strong character who can influence decisions and produce solid management accounts. The successful candidate will be expected to log accurate information with Companies House in order to ensure relevant legal compliance and provide a complete and comprehensive accounting service including:An excellent working knowledge of SAGERecent and relevant project costing experienceAccurately and efficiently identify discrepancies from budgeted revenue and expenditureProduce monthly financial updates for individual projectsProduce weekly/monthly accounts and be responsible for explaining the variances of figures on a monthly basisThe ability to build relationships with and question project managers on the financial progress of each project.Monthly recording of the physical movement of goods in & out of EC countries If you are AAT Qualified or above, with a vast amount of management accounts experience in the SME world, as well as the ability to manage people effectively and engage with stakeholders, this is a fantastic business to be in on a daily basis.
