Finance Manager

My client is a four star luxury Hotel in Southend so a beautiful place to work. These exists an immediate role for a Finance Manager. The day to day duties are

Responsible for:
•    Acting as Hands-on Finance Manger, reporting directly into the Managing Director and Owner of the business with two direct reports in Accounts.
•    Use of of Sage 50 
•    Preparation of annual statutory accounts for the auditors.
•    Preparation of monthly management accounts for internal use and bank reporting (through SAGE).
•    Cash flow forecasts- Setting up, preparing forecasts from daily to annual forecasting for internal purposes.
•    Preparation of Staff Contracts
•    VAT Returns and controls-Preparing and completing VAT monthly returns.
•    Purchase Ledger-Collating all invoices, coding and inputting on Sage (between 300-500 per month), reconciling with client statements, setting up and paying where applicable the BACS runs, running bi-monthly payment runs together with adhoc Cheque runs during month. 
•    Bank Reconciliation-Inputting on SAGE all bank transactions, preparing and reconciling manual cashbook where applicable, vouching SAGE transactions with bank statements on a monthly basis.
•    Stock Control.
•    Cost Control and setting up systems to monitor.
•    Budget Control and setting up systems to monitor.

This would suit a candidate with experience of the Hospitality/Catering sector
