As the business continues to evolve, finance needs to play an increasingly significant role in supporting this growth through the provision of insight and high quality advice and a talented Finance Director is now being sought. Reporting to the CEO and supporting both him and the Board, your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Leadership of all periodic reporting along with commentary and analysis
- Ownership of the Forecasting, Budgeting and Strategic Planning processes
- Close management of Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Management and development of a small finance team
- Provision of commercial insight and robust analysis to support enhance performance
- Identification and evaluation of new business investment opportunities
- Streamlining and development of key business and financial systems
- Ensuring appropriate processes and controls are in place to support the business
- Management of key external relationships include Banks & Auditors
- Building strong relationships across the business
- Acting as a catalyst and enabler of change
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA)
- Demonstrable ability to support the Board, the staff and the wider business
- Experience with change / transformation / growth
- Ideally knowledge of Retail, Technology or Repair (not critical)
- A strong hands-on pragmatic approach
- A credible and engaging "people person" with a sense of humour!
