Accountant

Practice accountant required for accountancy practice in Brightlingsea. £30-35k

Small accountancy firm in Brighlingsea is seeking an experienced practice accountant, to support the partner managing a portfolio of clients in the Essex and London region.

To be successful you will ideally be ACA/ACCA or AAT qualified and be experienced and competent within tax and accounts.

Main duties will include;

• Preparation of VAT returns
• General book keeping
• Sole Trader and Ltd company accounts
• Payroll processing - Monthly and Year end
• Preparation of basic tax returns for sole traders and individuals.

Knowledge of CCH / IRIS and Quickbooks is essential and also desired would be Kashflow / Sage / Xero.

The role is full time and salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications. (Based in Brightlingsea, with occasional trips to clients in London).
