This organisation are a highly reputable distribution business that have been at the forefront of their market since the company was established over three decades ago. With a fast growing team of multi-skilled experts they operate from a number of sites across the UK.
Your new role
Due to internal changes they now have a new vacancy that has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant. In this role you would be taking responsibility for all management reporting and KPI analysis for part of the business, managing a team of five, one Assistant Accountant and four finance administrators. The role will be based in Northamptonshire, however will cover other UK sites so very occasional travel will be required.
What you'll need to succeed
The right person for this position will be fully qualified or part qualified with a strong interest in completing their studies. They would have a recent, demonstrable background working for an operational business, ideally in third party logistics. They would be confident and experienced in management accounting and KPI reporting and have the confidence to manage a small team effectively. It is essential that they are used to a fast-paced set up with weekly accounting. Confidence and the ability to challenge operational teams is also essential.
