Job Title: Operations Finance Manager

Overview and Job purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our clients finance team as Operations Finance Manager. This new role will play a key part in supporting the delivery of our key strategic priorities as well as the continued improvements to our systems & processes.     

Key Responsibilities, scope for decision making, KPI’s

  • Provide business partnering support to the manufacturing managers and their teams
  • Lead the annual strat plan & budget setting processes for the supply chain departments
  • Identify new opportunities to deliver efficiency and cost saving initiatives for the business
  • Delivering systems and processes improvement projects in line with key milestones
  • Manage the factory operational budget(£47m) and support budget holders to deliver savings
  • Work with the supply chain finance team to reconcile cost of goods at month end and deliver actionable insights to the supply chain teams
  • Set the standard costs for all SKUs on an annual basis and deliver costings for NPD
  • Manage three team members and ensure robust development plans are in place

  • Supply chain finance director and the supply chain finance team
  • Factory director and the factory leadership team
  • Manufacturing, engineering, quality, planning, logistics and EHS teams
  • Commercial finance & financial control teams

Qualifications and Professional Experience

  • Financial acumen - qualified accountant with a proven track record
  • Expertise in working within cross-functional team & projects
  • Expertise in FMCG supply chain business partnering an advantage
