Blackwaters is recruiting a broad Financial Controller position for a multinational company based in Redhill.
Key responsibilities for the role will include:
- Manage the Group Reporting Function, delivering all period end reporting requirements to deadline
- Develop, maintain and adhere to IFRS technincal standards
- Manage all UK statutory reporting and delivering compliance across the group internally and externally
- Lead and develop the Group Reporting team of 3 direct reports
- Act as contact for all group matters internally and externally on SOX issues
- Liaise with external audit as required
- Work to improve, develop and refine existing and new processes across the group
In order to be considered for the role you will need to be:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) with relevant experience (ideally 5 years in industry)
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS and reporting standards
- Versatile with systems and knowledge (Excel)
- Communication skills
- Management experience
- Proactive approach to workload, strong analytical and problems solving mindset
