CFO / COO

Our retained client, a PE backed growth story, requires a CFO/COO to join an ambitious and highly motivated Board.  The business has more than doubled its sales (UK & International) over the last three years to over £70M TO, with profit growth in line.  The business is well positioned to continue on this growth curve organically and strategic acquisitions (UK & International) are also a key part of the strategy moving forward.

Reporting into the CEO, you will have overall financial responsibility and be heavily involved in leading broader operational and commercial matters.

Key areas of responsibility will include:-

• Partner with the CEO and other Directors in monitoring and managing the Business Plan, driving the growth and performance of the business.
• Provide constructive challenge and support to the CEO / Board.
• Identifying and taking responsibility for the implementation of operational improvement initiatives.
• Playing an active role in identifying and execution of potential acquisitions, alongside the PE Investor.
• Developing continuous process improvement methodologies.
• Optimising the Supply Chain and Warehousing facilities across the Group.
• Manage external stakeholder relationships with PE house and Banks. Providing accurate forecasting and timely reporting to generate credibility and confidence.

The successful CFO/COO will have previous experience of managing multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.  It is essential to demonstrate immediate gravitas / credibility with banks and PE investors. You must also have strong leadership skills and be able to show an impressive track record of driving success within a fast paced environment.
