External Reporting Accountant

Shawbrook Bank is currently looking to recruit an External Reporting Accountant into our established Reporting Function based in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an ACA accountant to join a high performing central function. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the External Reporting Manager in all aspects of group external reporting, alongside the provision of technical accounting expertise. In addition, the External Reporting Accountant will be required to partake in cross function activities where a sound financial reporting influence is required.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

• Preparation of all group external reporting deliverables, providing accurate and timely external financial reporting that is in compliance with accounting policies.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive group reporting manual.
• Assist in the production technical papers for discussion at the Board Audit Committee.

Suitable candidates will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Qualified ACA accountant, with previous banking experience from industry or practice.
• In-depth knowledge of technical accounting and listed company reporting requirements.
• Proven understanding of the external reporting process within a listed FS business.
