Head of Finance

PSD has an exciting yet challenging opportunity for a Head of Finance role for a leading property development company. The role will report into the Managing Director providing commercial and financial support and acting as a true business partner to the division.

Duties will include:

• Ensure effective financial control systems are in place to manage the continued growth of the business.
• Attend Board meetings, as directed, reporting and advising on commercial and financial matters.
• Produce miscellaneous commercial and financial reports as required.
• Management of Half Year and Full Year audit process.
• Manage the business unit Limits of Authority.
• Ensure all financial information and procedures comply with Group accounting standards and policy.
• Timely and accurate analysis of budgets, monthly financial reports and financial trends to enable the Board in fulfilling their responsibilities.
• Cash management including weekly reporting.
• Finance board papers.
• Credit checks on customers for new projects.
• Ensure the implementation and delivery of strategic development initiatives.

You will be a qualified accountant with previous financial management and commercial experience in a construction business. You will be capable of demonstrating excellent analytical and planning skills, time management and prioritisation and you will be a good communicator across a wide range of disciplines

Offer
£85,000 basic salary plus car, bonus and benefits
