Project Accountant

Role -Project Accountant      Location -Preston      Salary - £45,000 to £55,000 + benefits

Frazer John Recruitment Finance Division is exclusively recruiting for a well-established, global services business in their search for a Project Accountant to work out of their office based just outside Preston.

The Project Accountant will need to be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with a strong academic background. Advanced Excel skills are absolutely crucial as is the ability to manipulate data and create financial models. The ability to develop relationships with different departments and key stakeholders is crucial as is the ability to present financial information in a concise and detailed manner. This role will involve around 40% travel mainly throughout the UK but could also involve some European travel. Key duties for the role will include the following:-

• Financial planning and analysis throughout the business
• Participation in all departmental budgeting and forecasting
• Business partnering with various other departments and providing key analysis
• Assist with IT implementations and process improvements throughout the organisation
• Decision support
• Review and improve KPI analysis
• Ad-hoc project work
