Finance Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to provide maternity cover (12 months) for a very highly regarded, rapidly expanding £130m t/o business based near Warrington. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for managing a team of 20 spanning Credit Control, Sales Ledger, Income Administration, Accounts Payable, Balance Sheet, Treasury & Financial Accounts. Your duties will include:

• Overall responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of the balance sheet
• Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed on a monthly basis
• Providing monthly balance sheet and cash flow reporting to the business with appropriate commentary
• Preparing cash flow and balance sheet budgets and forecasts for the business
• Ensuring aged debt is kept as low as possible
• Submission of key financial information to the necessary bodies
• Ensuring suitable financial controls are in place
• Playing a key role in directing key projects within the Finance Department
• Monitoring and improving the performance of the department against an appropriate set of KPIs
• Assisting the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer in any other duties as requested

Applicants will be available immediately or on a maximum of 1-2 weeks notice, and will have operated in a a similar profile Finance Manager/Financial Controller role. A competitive salary (Envisaged £40-45k) is complemented with benefits including 22 days holiday, Parking, 37 hour week and Pension.
