Senior Financial Analyst

This role reports directly to the Financial Controller, UK and requires a strong partnership with the Business Controller, UK, the Senior Finance Analyst (FP&A), the SSC, the European FP&A team.

This position will provide the financial support to ensure the basics are in place and operational for maintaining accurate and adequate books and records in accordance with local and US generally accepted accounting principles. This includes a focus on internal controls, driving the month end close process, with a requirement for a technical proficiency in statutory and tax related subjects

Financial Results and Reporting
* Working in partnership with the Senior Finance Analyst (FP&A) driving the month end close process through to successful and timely completion
* Review P&L and Balance Sheet information and identify errors or exceptions
* Check and adjust accruals, prepare journals in collaboration with the SSC
* Ensure results for the period are complete and accurate
* Flash commentary submission to Europe in collaboration with the Senior Finance

Analyst (FP&A)
* Cash Flow commentary submission to Europe

Financial Accounting and Reporting
* Quarterly balance sheet review to include an annual documented review
* Provide support for annual statutory financial statements process
* Provide support for all company and indirect tax returns
* Monthly payroll, bonus and commissions calculations
* Ensure complete, accurate and timely submission of annual payroll returns to HMRC in collaboration with the payroll specialist
* Ensure financial results are accurate and fully compliant and are appropriately supported by adequate documentation

Internal Controls and Audit
* Support for all internal, external and HMRC related audits
* Ensure all month end controls are evidenced appropriately and in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
* Ensure all process narratives are maintained and up to date
* Prepare deliverable for all internal and external audits

Asset Management
* Work closely with the business to ensure that cycle counting is carried out on a periodic basis

To be considered for this role you will be a qualified accountant ideally with a degree.

Knowledge of ERP systems and any European languages would be an advantage but not compulsory.

Salary targeted at £40-47k with a maximum of £50k plus a large range of benefits.
