A FTSE 250 consultancy service requires a Group Reporting Accountant to join their Finance team based in the City Of London. You will be responsible for several regions of the business as well as providing support for other areas in which the company operates in on a world wide scale. - Preparing Group consolidated annual and interim accounts under IFRS
- Preparing international subsidiaries statutory accounts under local GAAPs
- Leading monthly consolidation using Business Panning & Consolidation system (BPC) to produce the Group's consolidated reports and subsidiary trial balances
- One of the key contacts to PwC UK and overseas teams for the Group and subsidiaries audits;
- Leading the half year and year-end timetables; planning and coordinating Group annual audit and half year work with external auditors and internal teams to ensure agreed reporting deadlines are met
- Reconciliation of Group's equity accounts on a monthly basis and preparation of primary financial statements
- Preparing Group's cash flow forecasts
- Maintaining Group's various foreign exchange rates
- Performing banking covenants tests for the half year and year-end
- Improving and streamlining reporting procedures
- Managing internal and external contacts (e.g. audit, tax, treasury, GL, company secretarial and other support functions)
- Completing periodic tasks to the strict Group timetable (including enhanced monthly /quarterly report requirements)
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the senior management as required
- Getting involved in various projects across the business
Candidate Requirements -
- Knowledge of IFRS and FRS 101
- Knowledge of IFRS 2
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Accounting practice experience would be preferred but not essential
- SAP and business objects experience
- Advanced Excel Skills
